We value finish, reproduction and archival qualities over easy handling. To protect your investment, we recommend that you handle your prints with care, preferably with gloves or only touching the edges and non-printed areas. Handle and store in ways that will avoid humidity, scratching, bending and cannot be accessed by critters that might damage (rats, flies, etc). Professional framing is a great way to help ensure that your prints are protected.

We print our photographic and fine art Using the Epson UltraChrome HD ink set. Based on Epson’s famous K3 & HDR ink it has an aqueous (water based) all-pigment construction. The formulation provides an extended gamut with superior colour accuracy and archival level image stability.
Ink dries quickly to produce prints that are water and scratch resistant. The ink set includes Vivid Magenta for brighter blues and pinks as well as Light and Light-Light Black for improved balance with neutral greys, reduce bronzing and minimal colorcasts/colour twist.
The HD formulation features improved Matte and Photo Black inks that provide an enhanced Dmax for brighter prints with an enhanced tonal range in both black and white and colour. It also features a new Yellow ink that provides further durability enhancement with increased UV light resistance.

Epson Signature Worthy Hot Press Paper Natural
Designed for museum quality photographic and fine art work. It is manufactured from 100% cotton that is acid, lignin and chlorine free with ph buffering for superb durability and print stability. Produced in cylinder-mould for an ultra-smooth finish, it features a coating that has been optimised for our Epson UltraChrome pigment Inks. It has a natural white surface that does not contain any optical brightners and delivers beautiful tonal transitions with a wide colour gamut. It is particularly suited to soft colour photography. For enhanced versatility the finish and coating has been applied to both sides.

Juniper Baryta Rag 305 is a 100% cotton, true baryta (barium sulfate) fibre paper that offers the density of a traditional darkroom FB-type paper to hold detail in the deep blacks of the shadow regions, while producing natural white highlights that is enhanced with a slight fibre glossy surface texture.
The finished prints have a look and feel similar to a traditional silver halide print.

We are often printing one or two papers that are not included in our catalogue. These may be new to market or something that customers have expressed interest in.
For a run of prints or an exhibition we will consider printing on a customer specified paper. This normally involves some initial test printing to ensure that we obtain the best possible performance from the paper.
